Anti-deception Alliance (Education) (ADAE)

Anti-deception Alliance (Education) (ADAE) is calling for an urgent effort of the education sector to safeguard the health and wellbeing of school stakeholders and the education ecosystem from the exponential growth of deception cases worldwide. 


Back in April 2024, Institute of Global Metagovernors and the Hong Kong Police Force jointly organized ADAE, which soon gained generous support from event co-organizer the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, co-organizers the City University of Hong Kong, Lingnan University, Po Leung Kuk, Tung Wah Group of Hospitals, Lok Sin Tong Benevolent Society Kowloon, Lingnan Education Organization, Hong Kong College of Technology, HKCT Institute of Higher Education, Hong Kong Sheng Kung Hui Education Services, Catholic Education Office-Catholic Diocese of Hong Kong, Hong Kong Council of the Church of Christ in China, Hong Kong Huaxia Education Institute, Hong Kong Federation of Education Workers and Association of Professional Mental Health and Wellness Education. 


ADAE successfully launched at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology on 12 October 2024 . The event embarked ADAE on a challenging yet meaningful journey with our educators, the community leaders and members, working and growing together.

This survey covers students from Primary 4 to Postgraduates for the period from March to May 2025. Individual reports will be sent to schools in June and a full debriefing will be conducted on 5 July 2025.
